STAGES OF ISOLATION

Stages of Isolation is a photographic series created during the COVID-19 pandemic that explores the psychological and emotional impact of prolonged solitude. Through carefully staged portraits and symbolic compositions, the project translates internal emotional states into visual narratives.

Each image represents a different moment within the experience of isolation, reflecting feelings such as uncertainty, vulnerability, resilience, and quiet introspection. Rather than documenting the pandemic directly, the series focuses on the internal landscapes people navigated during this period.

The project invites viewers to reflect on the fragile balance between distance and connection, revealing how moments of isolation can also become spaces for transformation.
